Your wedding morning deserves a space that feels as special as the day ahead. We’ve created two beautifully thought-out rooms designed to give you and your favourite people the perfect start to your celebrations.
The Morning Room
Ease into your wedding day surrounded by your closest friends and family. The Morning Room is the perfect spot to sip a glass of fizz, enjoy freshly baked pastries and fruit, and soak up those exciting pre-wedding vibes. With champagne fridge at your fingertips and a big, comfy sofa for everyone to gather on, it’s a relaxed sociable space where your glam squad can work their magic while your nearest and dearest share stories and smiles.
The Getting Ready Room
Pre-Ceremony Room
Just before those double doors open and your aisle music begins, slip into the Pre-Ceremony Room – a quiet private space designed for those precious final moments. Here, you can take a breath, check your dress or suit one last time and gather your thoughts as the excitement builds.
It’s also the perfect spot for a memorable first look with your father, children or anyone special you’d like to share that emotional moment with before making your entrance. A space for calm, reflection and those little final touches before you step out to say “I do”.
The Ceremony Barn
Our oak framed indoor ceremony space is full of warmth and character, with views across open fields. The double doors at the back open wide for a dramatic entrance as your music begins. It’s a flexible space for up to 120 guests – whether you’re having a live pianist, string quartet or your own playlist on our sound system.
You’re welcome to make the space your own: dress our cross-back chairs with sashes, line the aisle with candles and make a statement display at the end of the aisle to say your vows beneath.
Outdoor Ceremonies
Choose your outdoor space to tie the knot! Carlton Manor offers a ceremony under the sun, either in the romantically framed Courtyard or out on the open Lawn. Shaded by a huge oak tree and surrounded by rolling fields, the Lawn is a peaceful ceremony setting with room for up to 120 family and friends. There’s plenty of room for seating, personal touches and even a celebratory toast after you say your “I do’s”. The Courtyard is perfect for a smaller and more intimate ceremony, seating up to 60 wedding guests.
The Carlton Tipi
There’s just something different about a Tipi, it’s a part of your wedding day that your guests will remember forever. Our fairy-lit Tipi with a fully stocked bar and disco ball is built to the highest quality, designed for warm spring and summer evenings. It hosts up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast and you can add another 50 of your nearest and dearest in the evening.
Inside you will find twinkling lights, rustic timber details and a relaxed atmosphere that works with any theme – from romantic to rustic, boho to modern. It’s all yours to style how you like and make a fantastic space for speeches, dinner, dancing and memories.
Dreaming of a wedding breakfast that is a little more laid-back? At Carlton Manor you can bring in your favourite food trucks and treat your guests to a vibrant, under the stars experience they will never forget!
The Honeymoon Suite
When the celebrations are over, you can retreat to your private suite tucked away in the back of the manor. Unwind together in the lavish four-poster double bed, draped in sumptuous linen, perfect for winding down with your partner and chatting about the special parts of your day.
The highlight of the suite is the copper roll-top bath – bringing a touch of vintage charm and a peaceful place to soak your feet after a night of dancing. When morning comes, wake up to the blissful garden views from your Juliette balcony, ready to start married life in style.
The Manor House Accommodation
Carlton Manor has luxurious accommodation of the highest standard, offering eleven beautifully appointed bedrooms that accommodate up to 24 guests in luxurious comfort. Many rooms feature charming views of the East Yorkshire countryside. At the heart of the manor lies a spacious kitchen, a snug, and inviting nooks perfect for spending quality time with your loved ones. The outdoor patio, overlooking two acres of meticulously tended gardens, provides an ideal setting for entertaining.
The Glamping Pods
No one needs to go far! Our 12 luxury glamping pods are just on site for your wedding guests to leave the dancing behind and retire just beyond the woodland horizon. Each glamping pod includes a high quality bed, en-suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen, and breath taking countryside views. Sleeping between a relaxed couple of 2 or a fun family of 7, they’re perfect for friends or family who want to stay close without sacrificing comfort!
